Abstract: This seminar focuses on the Natural and Cultural Resources Master Plan developed by the Illinois state scientific surveys of the Prairie Research Institute in collaboration with Forest Preserves of Cook County staff to address the unique resource management needs of the largest county forest preserve in the nation. Since its implementation in 2014, the program has overcome challenges with an integrated approach to resource management. Project highlights, case studies, and results will be discussed.
