Abstract: The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado, is working on a number of new capabilities and initiatives focused on  renewable power, sustainable transportation, energy efficiency, and energy systems integration. As these technologies become a larger part of grid operations, they must be made secure against cyber threats and resilient against every kind of possible disruption.

This presentation will look at some of NREL’s work in security and resilience, as well as the new Advanced Research on Integrated Systems (ARIES)  platform that will support this work.
