Abstract: DOE-ASCR and the Laboratory encourage developers to release code under an open-source license. This presentation will detail the steps needed to open source your software and the issues you should consider. We’ll also cover legal agreements like nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) and Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs), and what to do when you’re presented with an agreement to sign.
