Abstract: libCEED is an extensible library that provides a portable algebraic interface and optimized implementations suitable for high-order operators found in finite-element and spectral-element methods. Multigrid methods target error across a hierarchy of resolutions and are particularly effective as preconditioners for iterative methods. We introduce the libCEED API and provide an example using matrix-free libCEED operators and PETSc’s PCMG interface.
