The Postdoctoral Research and Career Symposium is an annual event that showcases the research of postdoctoral researchers and advanced graduate students.

The symposium promotes collaboration through networking, and enables industry and government leaders to connect with and recruit from the nation’s top scientific and engineering talent.

Our company is not actively recruiting for a specific position. Why should we attend?

This symposium offers the opportunity to educate the next generation of leaders and innovators on your company’s research and development goals, spark collaboration and network for your future talent needs.

Who are the attendees?

Postdoctoral scientists and engineers at various stages of their career and advanced graduate students. In addition to Argonne attendees, we attract attendees from Fermi Lab and regional universities.

We would like to be listed as a sponsor. How should we proceed?

Companies that wish to be an official sponsor may select this option on the registration page. Please contact Kristene Henne, Postdoctoral Program Lead, directly to discuss the benefits of sponsorship.

We have openings, but cannot attend due to time-constraints. How do we get visibility at the symposium?

Argonne will provide a display with your openings. However, we will need information about the  recruitment lead or hiring managers in charge of those openings.
