Chris Heckle, MMIC’s director, was lucky enough to sit on a panel with José Luis Zayas-Castro, Kelly Visconti, Veronica Barner, and Jieun Kirtley, hosted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).
The group talked about narrowing the workforce gap, minimizing supply chain vulnerabilities and leveraging technology all in the context of the SMMs serving the 51 states and Puerto Rico manufacturing excellence centers and their constituents.
We appreciated being part of the conversation and for the invite Jose Colucci, PE, PhD!
