Enhanced Telerobotic Operation creates a new intuitive teleoperation technology, namely Augmented Teleautonomy, by incorporating augmented reality and autonomous robotic behaviors. This allows deployment in more challenging nuclear applications to perform dexterous manipulation of heavy objects.

The human-robot interface is enabled by integrating new emerging technologies of three-dimensional (3D) sensing/reconstruction, augmented reality, haptics, soft robotics, and machine learning. One of the high-value deliverables is the network-based distributed system integration based on robot operating system.
