Franck Cappello, a senior computer scientist in Argonne’s Mathematics and Computer Science Division, has been named recipient of the 2021 IEEE Transactions on Computers (TC) Award for Editorial Service and Excellence for his role as associate editor.
TC is a monthly publication with a wide distribution to researchers, developers, technical managers, and educators in the computer field. The award is given for outstanding and exemplary service in ensuring timely and high-quality reviews for TC over the past 12 months.
In his role as associate editor, Cappello has interacted closely with the TC editor-in-chief, helping improve growth and overseeing the overall review process.
In recognition of the award, Cappello received an IEEE Computer Society certificate and a nominal gift.
