Home to the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF), Argonne is well suited to computational science research in the drive to achieve exascale computing, and provides researchers from national laboratories, academia, and industry with access to high performance computing capabilities – some of the most powerful in the world – to conduct breakthrough science and engineering research.
The ALCF is home to Mira, one of the fastest supercomputer in the world, and its new Theta system that will serve as a bridge between Mira and its next leadership-class supercomputer, Aurora.
