Aaron serves as Senior Manager, Initiative Development. In this role, he works with directorate leaders and staff to develop and execute new science and technology initiatives, with a focus on decarbonization, advanced manufacturing, and energy technologies.

In his previous roles at Argonne, Aaron served as Interim Director of the Materials Manufacturing Innovation Center, Manager for Strategic Planning and Initiatives, and as Business Development Executive. He joined Argonne in 2017 from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked with senior leaders of client organizations to develop and implement strategies for growth, innovation, and efficiency. He earned his Ph.D. in the Institute for Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago. He also holds an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. with highest distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, both in chemical engineering.
