Dr. Adarsh Bafana is an Energy Systems Analyst in the Energy Systems and Infrastructure Division at Argonne National Laboratory. His work is focused on environmental life cycle analysis, process modeling and techno-economic analysis of hydrogen and low carbon fuel systems. He has authored and co-authored several journal articles and book chapters on sustainable nanomaterials, life cycle assessment and hydrogen production and delivery.

Adarsh Bafana is currently on Detail with DOE’ Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Office (HFTO) and Office of Celan Energy Demonstrations (OCED) supporting life cycle analysis tasks to inform DOE’s funding activities toward hydrogen related BIL and IRA provisions.
