Alex is a 3rd year PhD student at the University of York. His thesis research is focused on nucleosynthesis inside common envelope accretion.

Biography

Alex is a 3rd year PhD student studying at the University of York in conjunction with Argonne National Laboratory. He completed his Masters in Physics with Astrophysics at the University of York. His research is focused on investigating the variety of nucleosynthesis that can occur inside an accreting Common Envelope around a neutron star, as well as assisting with experiments conducted on the HELIOS and MUSIC detectors located in Argonnes ATLAS facility.
