Anthony Avarca is Deputy IT Director for the Computing, Environment and Life Sciences (CELS) directorate at Argonne. Anthony joined the CELS Systems group in April of 2022 to help advance various initiatives focused on infrastructure and services to support AI/ML, data, and computing needs for the research and engineering communities at Argonne. Before joining CELS, Anthony held the role of Research Computing Architect with the Center for Nanoscale Material (CNM) and other various positions in his 15-year tenure with CNM.
