Biography

Tony has 34 years of experience at Argonne National Laboratory, where he is currently supervisor of the Experimental Facilities Group in the Experimental Operations and Facilities division. He worked for ten years in the Argonne Environmental Monitoring Group, conducting field work on and off the Argonne Site. Tony also worked in the Energy Systems / Applied Materials Division for several years.

Tony has extensive expertise in electrodialysis/electrodeionization, including fabrication of electrodeionization wafers and equipment, experimental operations, and analysis of samples. Currently, Tony provides experimental and analytical support for plastics recycling and novel cathode battery production. Tony continues to support multiple divisions as a Qualified Electrical Worker I, Radiation II worker, and with general laboratory equipment repair work.

Tony has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago. Tony was proud to be a contributor to the Argonne Renewable Feedstocks Group that received the 1998 President’s Green Chemistry Award.
