Chenzhao Li was born in Xi’an, China in 1993. He received his B.S. in Biochemical Engineering from Sichuan University in 2015. Then he went to The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as a master’s student. After he got his M.S. degree from HKUST in 2017, he received his Ph.D. degree in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University in 2022. His research focuses on the development of the polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell, in-operando synchrotron X-ray characterization for energy materials, novel catalyst development, MEA  electrode engineering. He has had more than 20 peer-reviewed papers and conference presentations.
