Connor currently works as an Accelerator Technician developing isotopic targets for nuclear physics experiments. Other responsibilities include serving as the alternate custodian of the Physics division’s radioactive materials inventory and researching new ways to develop targets for unique experiments.

He has several years of experience researching high energy physics, which has included developing and upgrading different detectors for accelerators, studying accelerator systems and researching theoretical astrophysical phenomena and cosmology. Connor transitioned to low energy physics upon joining Argonne.
