Expert in computational imaging and python packaging
Biography
As part of the Computational X-ray Science group, Daniel develops and maintains image reconstruction software for tomography and ptychography imaging techniques. Presently, his main interests include optimizing trajectories for scanning probe microscopes, computational imaging, and creating a framework for solving the joint ptychotomography problem.
Previously, as a graduate student at Oregon State University, Daniel’s research focused on in situ mechanical studies of wood composites at the micron scale.
