Biography

Emily Ohland is the Director of Strategy and Innovation for Argonne National Laboratory’s Decision and Infrastructure Sciences division and Strategic Security Sciences division. She is working to expand research applications to increase infrastructure and community resilience to climate change-induced risk as well as facilitate divisional strategic priorities. 

Ms. Ohland has nearly 25 years of private sector experience working directly with federal, state and local government agencies, communities, non-governmental organizations and their stakeholders in emergency management, critical infrastructure, public health and weapons of mass destruction.  Her work has focused on leading organizations, technical programs and teams through incremental and transformational strategy and growth to increase mission impact.

Ms. Ohland received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Certificate in Business Strategy from The Round Table Group.
