Biography

Eunjeong Hyeon is a postdoctoral appointee at Argonne National Laboratory. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea in 2015 and 2017, respectively. She received her Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2022. 

Her research interests include trajectory forecasting and optimal control of connected automated vehicles to improve the energy efficiency of vehicles with various powertrains. Her current research focuses on developing control, decision-making, and negotiation algorithms for cooperative driving automation.
