Senior Community & Economic Resilience Analyst

Biography

Greg Guibert is a senior economic resilience analyst and program manager for the National Economic Research and Resilience Center. He has been involved in community resilience and climate adaptation for nearly two decades. During that time, he served as Boulder, Colorado’s first Chief Resilience Officer (CRO) as part of the global 100 Resilient Cities program and as a climate development specialist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). As program manager, Greg has helped develop other economic development projects, including the National Economic Resilience Data Explorer (NERDE) and the Economic Development Capacity Index (EDCI), as well as new program evaluation frameworks for the EDA and FEMA.

Greg has a Master’s in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture and a Bachelor of Geography from Vassar College.
