Biography

Heather is currently a member of the Reactor and Fuel Cycle Analysis section within the Nuclear Engineering Division at Argonne National Laboratory. Her current work is focused on analyses in support of the planned low-enriched uranium (LEU) conversion of the Transient Reactor Test (TREAT) Facility at the Idaho National Laboratory. 

Previous work experience includes graduate student research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and internships with Argonne National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and AREVA. Her research areas have included fast reactor analysis, code development, fuel cycle analysis, and other reactor physics-related projects. Heather holds an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. from the University of Florida, both in Nuclear Engineering.
