Hemant’s primary areas of focus are Argonne’s Energy Systems and Nuclear Engineering divisions. He joined Argonne in 2016.

Hemant has nearly 20 years of experience working in finance in various roles, including structured finance, venture capital, corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions and hedge funds.

He was a senior member of the research staff at Philips Research, where he covered technologies in RFICs, integrated power devices, SOI technologies, and device characterization. As a research assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he worked on II-VI & III-V Solar cells, and optical, microwave and electrical device & materials  characterization.

Hemant holds an MBA from New York University, a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
