Ms. Abplanalp has nineteen years of experience in cultural resources management with an area of specialization in the analysis of the impacts of energy development to our nation’s historic and cultural resources and tribal consultation. She has experience managing high profile projects in support of urban and industrial energy development, most notably the Playa Vista Archaeological Site’s Curation and Repatriation Project and field investigations of Stateline Solar Farm and Desert Sunlight Solar Farm. Work at Argonne has focused on environmental impact assessments, landscape-level cultural resources management, and leading and co-leading a number of cultural resources projects for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center including, Phase I and Phase II archaeological investigations, document curation, tribal consultation, and community outreach projects.
