Biography

Sam Jiang joined ANL as a post-doctoral appointee in 1996, and became a staff member in 1998. His research interests are on fabrication of nanostructured materials, nano-scale magnetism, interactions between magnetism and superconductivity, and charge and spin transport phenomena. He is a member of CUSPEA (China-US Physics Examination Application) program (1989), a Phi Beta Kappa (1996), a recipient of the University of Chicago Distinguished Performance Award (2003), and a Fellow of the American Physical Society (2009).
