Mr. Young has 32 years of professional experience as a safety and health professional.  His career has included 10 years at ANL providing support to the programmatic divisions housed in building 241, and 22 years as a consultant to nationwide clients in both the public and private sectors.  He draws energy from the desire to keep others from harm and to facilitate work planning for the conduct of safe research. During his career he has worked to integrate his values of honesty, integrity, and respect into his daily work life.  

Jim is certified by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing as an Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals as a safety professional (CSP).  These certifications were obtained in 1997 and 2002, respectively.
