Jingyi Zhang is an Energy Systems Analyst at Argonne National Laboratory. Her research interests encompass life cycle analysis and techno-economic analysis of diverse energy and water systems, including biofuel, lithium-ion batteries, solar energy, and wastewater treatment. Recent research includes the life cycle analysis of advanced algal system and material flow of lithium-ion battery recycling.

Before joining Argonne, she served as a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern University. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
