Jiyu Cai is a postdoctoral appointee at Argonne National Laboratory working on the technological developments to enable long-term cycling and high performance of lithium-ion batteries. His research focuses on interfacial chemistry and surface engineering of high-energy-density cathode and anode materials in lithium-ion batteries, as well as the development of next-generation solid-state lithium batteries.
