Jodi Canaday is the technical lead for the Radiological Sealed Source Library (RSSL), which is the radiological materials component of the U.S. National Nuclear Forensics Library infrastructure. She supports collection and analysis of radiological forensic signatures for operational response to radiological material. This material is found outside of regulatory control in both real-world and exercise scenarios.

Canaday is Argonne’s program manager for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s National Technical Nuclear Forensics Office and for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Deterrence Office and recognized both worldwide as a radiological material subject matter expert.
