My research interest involve using high-energy x-rays to investigate materials in their operating environment and to evaluate their behavior.

We use x-ray scattering techniques to map the behavior of materials inside of batteries.  By understanding the localized response of  materials inside of the battery cell, we aim to improve their performance and extend their functional lifetimes.
