Jordan Rein is a Nuclear Engineer in the Nuclear Science and Engineering Division at Argonne National Laboratory. He currently is a member of the Mechanisms Engineering Test Loop (METL) team working on sensor development and test for Sodium Fast Reactors. Jordan received a BS in Nuclear Engineering in 2016 and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics in 2020 at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His PhD research was focused on studying edge effects and magnetohydrodynamic phenomena in liquid metal induction pumps. He also worked on studying liquid metal flowmeters including Venturimeters and Electromagnetic Flowmeters.
