Junho Kweon joined Argonne as a Givens Associate (Research Intern) in June 2022. He is a Ph.D. candidate in the electrical engineering department at Pennsylvania State University (PA, US), he obtained his M.S. in electrical engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (South Korea) and his B.S. in electrical engineering from Hanyang University (South Korea).

As a Givens Associate, his research focus is on solving optimization problems, especially the phase retrieval problem in x-ray imaging. For his Ph.D. research, he is working on developing fast optimization algorithms for non-linearly constrained electronic systems such as radar systems and microgrids.
