Biography

Trained at the University of Chicago Flash Center, Katherine Riley helped develop a community code designed to solve a wide variety of scientific problems on the largest available computers. As a member and second in charge of the code team, she was focused on code architecture scalable in both developers and computational size.

At Argonne, she has worked closely with teams in multiple fields, planning the next generation supercomputers and how scientific applications can best use these new systems.
