Kristen Brachmann is a Professional Career Internship (PCI) student, and she supports university student programming and operations by planning events and managing students for summer internships at Argonne. Over the summer, she will assist on-campus students and provide University Student Programs with a student perspective on what works best for interns. Kristen wants to create an environment where interns feel welcome and have a voice during their stay at the Lab.

Kristen is currently a freshman majoring in Economics at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, where she plans to pursue a degree in Finance. She is a member of the Society of Women in Business and serves as their New Member Enrichment Chair; she also plans new member events and helps with social events for the society.
