Lauren is an emergency management analyst with Argonne National Laboratory’s Decision and Infrastructure Sciences Division. Her research focuses on evaluating disaster impacts and identifying solutions for increasing resilience. Prior to her position with Argonne, she worked with both the National Emergency Management Association and the National Governors Association supporting the states, territories, and the District of Columbia in enhancing capabilities related to cybersecurity, pre-disaster planning, public health emergency preparedness, and resilience.

Lauren has an MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a former Climate Security Fellow with the Center for Climate and Security.
