Lesley is an emergency management and resilience analyst with Argonne National Laboratory’s Decision and Infrastructure Sciences Division. Her research focuses primarily on evaluating critical infrastructure risk and identifying solutions for increasing resilience.She works with the Federal Emergency Management Agency building technical assistance programs for state and local stakeholders focusing on dam safety planning, grocery and fuel supply chain resilience, community resilience, and evacuation/shelter-in-place planning. She has also been instrumental in the creation of FEMA’s Resilience Analysis and Planning Tool (RAPT) and the associated Community Resilience Challenges Index (CRCI).
