Biography

Michael has more than 10 years of experience at Argonne National Laboratory, where he is currently working as a Technical Assistant/Equipment Inspector mainly supporting the AMD division.  Michael joined the Lab to run the BASF Mepiquat Pentaborate pilot plant, and has produced, loaded and shipped more than 2 million gallons of product demonstrating the technical and economic viability of the process.

In addition to running large scale experiments, Michael fabricates, provides electrical power to and repairs equipment.  He is an Electrical SME, a qualified electrical worker, a DEEI, and an ICC certified Commercial Electrical Inspector.

Michael studied Economics at the University of Chicago, and learned risk management the hard way during a career in Finance, trading futures and options on the floors of the Chicago Board of Trade, the New York Mercantile Exchange, and the New York Cotton Exchange.  He also taught High School science and, and worked in the Biotech industry.
