Biography

Dr. Neil A. Krueger joined the Science & Technology Partnerships and Outreach directorate at Argonne National Laboratory in 2021. Neil began his career at Honeywell Aerospace in 2016, where he was a Scientist for the Advanced Sensors & Microsystems Research Technology Center in Plymouth, MN. There, his focus was on the conception and development of next-generation technology to advance precision positioning, navigation, and timing applications, typically working with support from the United States government and Department of Defense.

Neil completed his Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2016), where he was a Department of Defense National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellow whose dissertation explored Porous Silicon as a Platform for Gradient Refractive Index Photonics”. In addition, he received his B.S. in Engineering Physics with a concentration in Micro-/Nanotechnology at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (2011) while competing as a four-year member of the varsity baseball team and earning Academic All-American honors (2011).
