Ms. Rice is a Cultural Resources and Tribal Consultation Specialist who works with agencies, peers, universities, and federally recognized tribes to research and manage cultural resources. She provides tribal consultation support for various agencies to aid in developing long, lasting, and meaningful relationships that support appropriate management of cultural and natural resources. She has collaborated with federal agencies and universities to develop tribal consultation and communication trainings. She has performed archaeological fieldwork and lab work in Peru and Micronesia. She has worked with agencies to create digital curation repositories and physical archival collections.  Additionally she has experience in working with Great Lakes tribes in projects concerning revitalization of endangered indigenous languages.
