Paul is a quantum computational scientist who applies computational methods to the design, study, and operation of quantum information devices and processes.

Biography

Paul is a postdoctoral appointee in the Mathematics and Computer Science division. His research focus is the development and implementation of quantum computing techniques. Paul is broadly interested in the intersection of quantum information theory, device engineering, and computational science. 

Education

  • B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
  • Ph.D. in Energy Science and Engineering. Dissertation title: Control and calibration strategies for quantum simulation.”

  • 2018-2022 Energy Science and Engineering Fellow, University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Oak Ridge National Laboratory
