Peng Yang

Senior Research Associate

Studying geochemical processes such as sorption of cations and anions at mineral-water interfaces at ambient and high T/P.

Biography

Peng Yang is a postdoctoral fellow in the Interfacial Processes Group, Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division. His current research focus is the sorption behavior of cations and anions on naturally occurring barite crystal in aqueous solutions using X-ray reflectivity and atomic force microscopy. The effects of pH, concentration of ions, and temperature/pressure on the sorption are also research interest.
