Robert W. Dunford

Emeritus

Biography

Dr. Dunford is an Emeritus Physicist in the Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physic Group at Argonne. His research interests include quantum elecrodynamics, parity nonconservation in atoms, forbidden transitions, the interface between nuclear and atomic physics, and studies of higher-order processes in photoionization and inner shell decay. He has a particular interest in two-photon decay in highly charged few-electron ions and the inner-shells of heavy atoms.
