My research area is the modeling and dynamic simulation of both currently operated and advanced nuclear power plants. During my PhD and my post-doc, I mainly worked on the simulation of Gen IV Liquid Metal-cooled Fast Reactors normal operation and safety transient scenarios, and the design of advanced control schemes for Supercritical CO₂ power plants. At the moment, my interests are focused on the integration of energy storage technologies with nuclear power plants in order to improve the flexible operation capabilities and profitability.
