Project Manager, Strategic Initatives

Biography

As a Project Manager, Strategic Initatives within the CELS-Shared Services team, Scott Ehling provides leadership and oversight to a wide array of projects enabling shared services transformation, process improvement, and technical solutions.  Under the direction of the CELS COO, he directs the development of strategy and objectives related to continuously improving CELS Shared Services capabilities and is responsible and accountable over all aspects of these improvement projects to ensure completion.  He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, SAFE program graduate and has more than two decades of leadership and business administration experience, and he is committed to supporting Argonne’s mission and its’ core values of Impact, Safety, Respect, Integrity and Teamwork.

Prior to his current appointment, Scott was the Assistant Division Director for Argonne’s Mathematics and Computer Science division.  He previously managed Argonne’s medical & retirement plan filings with the Department of Labor and he has held positions in payroll/employee benefits.

Before joining Argonne, Scott worked in both manufacturing and distribution industries, providing managerial, financial, human resources and quality control expertise to various clients.

Scott studied business administration at Lewis University, where he received both his BS in accounting and MBA in finance.  Scott is an alumnus of the 2017 Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Program at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth.
