Steve Jankiewicz is an archaeologist, specializing in cultural resources management.

Biography

Steve Jankiewicz is a member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists and exceeds the qualifications for an archaeologist as outlined in the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Guidelines. Mr. Jankiewicz holds graduate degrees in both Anthropology and Business Administration, with graduate certifications in geographic information analysis and museum studies, and a FAA certification as a commercial UAS pilot.

Mr. Jankiewicz has been employed in the field of cultural resources management since 2009 working on both precontact and historic sites across the United States, with specializations in managing cultural resources in the American Midwest and Caribbean. Mr. Jankiewicz assists federal sponsors, such as the Unites States Air Force, on various projects including regulatory compliance (Section 106 consultation, Section 110 compliance, tribal consultation, Memoranda of Agreement, Programmatic Agreements), archaeological survey and investigation, collections management, and public outreach efforts.
