Stuart John Rowan is a professor of molecular engineering and a principal investigator at the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago, as well as a Joint Appointee in the Materials Science division at Argonne National Laboratory.

His research focuses on chemistry of non-covalent interactions (supramolecular chemistry).
