Youngjun Lee

Postdoctoral Appointee

Biography

Youngjun Lee is a computational physicist specializing in designing fast and stable numerical algorithms and developing high-performance simulation codes. He has experience performing large-scale multiphysics simulations and scientific data evaluations.

Lee was a visiting student at Argonne in 2021. After receiving his Ph.D. in applied mathematics and statistics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, he joined the Mathematics and Computer Science Division as a postdoctoral researcher. He is working on designing a simulation setup for a high-energy electron beam study. The project aims to couple two different simulators: particle-matter interactions and magnetohydrodynamics codes.
