Ph.D. in Optical Engineering from the Chinese Academy of Science and currently a postdoc at Argonne National Laboratory. He has been working in the field of high power laser systems, fiber amplifier and lasers and laser acceleration.  Now his current research focuses on X-ray phase contrast imaging methods for X-ray wavefront sensing and metrology, such as grating interferometer and speckle tracking.
