Director’s Special Colloquium Series Celebrating Argonne’s 75th Anniversary

This year marks the 75th Anniversary of Argonne National Laboratory, which was founded as the first U.S. national laboratory with the purpose of harnessing the power of nuclear reactions for peaceful energy purposes. Since then, Argonne has grown to be a vibrant multidisciplinary laboratory with a rich history and bright future in varied areas such as energy storage, quantum science, and technology and science powered by artificial intelligence.

As part of the celebration of the 75th Anniversary year, the Laboratory will host a Director’s Special Colloquium series on areas that will be cornerstones of Argonne’s future.
