The ATMOS facility can be used as a staging area for campaign preparations.
One such example is the recent U.S. Air Force Wildland Fire project. The ATMOS area was used to prepare a multi-instrument setup for deployment near controlled burns in Florida. This project focused on air quality of the smoke emitted from controlled burns. This showcases the wide breadth of capabilities and expertise of the ATMOS facility.
