The HEP Instrument Repair Group can help you meet the Laboratory’s mandated electrical equipment safety inspections.

Our staff will inspect and evaluate each piece of equipment. We can certify electrical safety compliance, and produce the necessary documentation, tagging, and database entries. When feasible, we can remediate any non-compliant equipment and certify it for safe use, or recommend the most cost-effective solutions. Our staff have been trained in NEC NFPA 70E electrical code, and have been certified as electrical equipment inspectors by the Laboratory.

Electrical Equipment Inspection Services (please contact us for rate information):

• Groups with substantial needs: We offer annual support of fractional Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) of our staff, who would be dedicated to working on your equipment. You may choose a fraction of as little as 10% (yearly participation required).
• Groups with lesser needs: We offer walk-in services.
